Since AMERICAN EDUCATION is clearly taking its toll based on the idiocy of this thread, let me explain why the Poll is perfectly valid using the only analogy Americans understand to heart:
Fast Food
A huge "What's your Favorite Fast Food Restaurant?" poll has opened. To help make it more manageable, they are separated in categories based on the kind of food they provide. So you get shit like:
Hamburgers:
>McDonalds
>BK
>In-n-Out
>Carl's Jr
>Wendy's, etc.
Chicken Chains:
>KFC
>Chick Fil-a
>Raising Canes
>Popeyes, etc.
Sub Sandwiches:
>Subway
>Quiznos
>Jimmy John's, etc
And so on and so forth. After an exhaustive list, all Major Franchises are represented in the lists in their respective categories. People are free to vote for their favorites, whether it be their ultimate favorite, Their Favorite from each category, or however they wish.
After a long voting period and nearly 8 million votes, Chick-Fil-A turns out to be the winner with 150,000 combined votes. It's followed by McDonalds at 2nd with 100,000 votes, In-N-Out at 3rd with 95,000 votes, Wendy's at 4th with 90,000 votes and so on and so forth.
So what happens next? Why, Wendyfags complain that the poll is rigged because "Chick-Fil-A had no competition in the Chicken Category" and they're too idiotic to understand the concept of overall votes, of course!
