In my playthrough of FRLG my Charmander got critted by Brock's Onix's Rock Tomb but it still lived because its attack stat is so shitty
Meanwhile in USUM you're fighting shit like an Araquanid with a Dewpider sitting right next to it in rain with an Aqua Bubble boost with EVs with stat boosts. I literally would've lost this fight if I didn't also have a decently leveled Charjabug and got off a lucky paralysis.
