That said, i'm not one to be blinded by nostalgia. All my favourites, be they pokémon, trainers, leaders, games or whatever, rarely align with the first generations. Kris has a design that I did like, specially with her sporty style that compliments Ethan's (although maybe a bit too much).
However she still felt kind of outdated by the time the 4th gen rolled out so i was counting on HG/SS to give her a good redesign. Instead, what we got a farmer girl with a very big hat which looks just... yuck. What could have been a potentially excelent remake of a good was instead replaced by the ugliest playable character in pokemon's history
after Nate. HGSS was a mixed bag when it came to this kind of stuff.
>and ORAS May got rid of the tryhard glovesI didn't car emuch for the bike gloves, but I'll easily take that rather than shorts over shorts. Her hair also made much more sense when she wore a bandana rather than that ugly ribbon.
