Trying to categorize these subjective concepts by apperance can serve as a useful guidelines but in no way is it absolute. Once you start digging deeper into wider trends one starts to notice how completely arbitrary they are.
Indeed this is why I'm showing the reception to Pokémon characters and how they manifest themselves. These manifest not over morphology but based off sexualization which sometimes can be based off morphology but sometimes not as we can see with our given example. In truth I would hope people can try to move past that and try to see it from more tangible forces like appeal which can be measured by fan art, where it comes from as well as polls like smash or pass. All these help paint a more cohesive picture than trying to sort things out based off apperance which as shown doesn't always manifest that way especially given Pokémon unique context and even reception to it's creatures.
