>>48439934So I wanted to give some statistics for these three during my radar hunt. All were caught after 40 chain and each took the following number of radar resets:
1. 136
2. 11
3. 326
That's an average of about 158. Now I've done other chains that I will admit probably on average take less time than this, but the point is, I don't think the commonly cited stat of 2.0% chance of shiny/4 patch radar blast is correct. I think it's at the most 1%.
Also admittedly I've gotten many Pokemon below 40 chain, even a Beldum at a chain of 4, so it's not that bad.
