>>57359495I mean Mawlie can control HERSELF just fine it's just a matter of controlling her own strength. Like when Goku went about doing normal life things as a Super Saiyan as part of his "make it so natural it costs zero stamina to remain in said form" mini arc during the Cell Saga. Goku would go to grab a glass and accidentally crush it in his hands. Some goon would try to take a Dragon Ball from his pocket and when he went to only minorly push the guy away he ended up accidentally swatting him away into a wall and cracked it. Mawlie just doesn't know her own strength in said form and Emily would prefer not dealing with that just yet and just save it for emergencies instead.
Mawlie can control HERSELF in said state but isn't so good at controlling how much strength she uses in said form. That and
Mawlie's Mega Evolution causes quite the scene AND makes a giant blip on any radar that can sense Infinity Energy. Emily suspects that given the Collective's delving into technology using Infinity Energy they can detect it too in large enough quantities. Mawlie going Mega would expose where she is currently operating out of to the enemy.>>57359890This is more of a "Emily has no logistical reason to do it" moment, as noted above. Especially the last part.
