anyways difficulty in pokemon campaigns is always weird, because i feel like the more "difficult" you make a fight within pokemon's system, the more restrictive your options become for beating it - after all, the strongest team would be one that has as little counterplay as possible, and nobody likes feeling forced to catch some shitter they don't care about for the sole purpose of beating one gym then boxing it forever. most people wanna catch mons they like and be able to use them whenever and wherever, and because of this there's a limit to how difficult a pokemon game could be.
