New rule! I can use one healing item in battle for each opponent. Three healing items allowed against Roark for example, six against the champion, two against some random trainer, etc. I hope this adds some challenge while not making it impossible for my dumb ass. I'm running out of good rules to add btw, please suggest some. Also, gotta love that I have so many now that the rules section of my image is now near impossible to understand.
Anyway gen 4 holds a weird place in my heart because Diamond was my first game (zoomer moment). However I hardly revisit the region because my actual copy of Diamond has a file with 300 or so hours that I've had since I was 6 that I refuse to delete even though I never use it anymore. My sister happens to have an extra copy of Diamond, so that's how I'm playing. Nothing too crazy yet, though the Roark fight was pretty annoying because I wanted to use Canadian instead of Mackinac, and Canadian's physical attack is shit.
