>>45893042Why not both? Maybe have some things be transferable and some things be taught? Looking at their level up movelist it's clear that they learn more advanced techniques the higher level they are.
So their movesets have to be taught/learned as they experience more of the world around them and hone their abilities; the stuff that is transferable via telepathy can be the more basic stuff suited for survival (For example as soon as a ralts hatches they immediately are transferred the knowledge of what food is and where to find it, what danger looks like, etc.)
