New comm rolled through right at the end of the thread!
This is Molly and her Gardevoir, Rui.
She met Rui around the start of her adventures and tried to charm her way into a free Pokemon by promising it stardom in front of huge crowds of people!
The Ralts immediately turned tail and waddled away, preparing to Teleport the fuck out of there.
In her panic Molly actually dropped her pride and dove for the ground, grabbing him and begging him to wait. She explained that they could work on that fear and change him into Beauty and Grace incarnate, also that he was free to leave whenever he wanted if it didn't work out. The Ralts eventually relented and joined the team, wanting to be better than he was.
These days he's since evolved and become one of Molly's most loyal and alluring teammates, with people stopping to comment on how he seems to shine next to Molly.
He's also developed a sort of overprotectiveness and glares menacingly at anyone trying to approach Molly while clinging to her tightly. Molly hasn't noticed him doing so yet though, she figures he's just being nervous and that her presence is what intimidates people.
