She had no concept of humility or social graces and barely fit in with other human beings. She was constantly shot down and told she didn't belong. Throughout her time with Ash and Cilan, she was so ashamed of herself that she bluffed left and right as a defense mechanism, refusing to let others see her weak spots because she knew that SHE was the little kid in this scenario. But her Axew was weak as shit, her partner Excadrill wouldn't listen to her... she'd gotten too big for her britches and her character development was all about being knocked down a few pegs and realizing that the people around her don't want to hurt her like the ones in the past did. She was a beautifully written character, anon. Sorry you can't appreciate that.
