I just wanted to rush over there for my penultimate encounter. I thought maybe Bronzor would be nice.
It was a Vulpix, and I KO'd it.
I still have to actually explore it and I still have all the trainers to fight on Route 23.
But I need a sixth member now.
Of the remaining Pokemon, who would be the best fit? Now it's Marshal that's worrying me; I feel like Bisharp could handle Shauntal and Caitlin pretty well. No clue what to do about Grimsley yet, and I have exactly one step of the plan for Iris and nothing further than that. I can evolve Boldore to Gigalith and Elekid to Electivire if need be.
I'm thinking
>SerperiorBring Servine back to the fray and level her up. She can also learn Reflect and Light Screen which should ease my mind a bit, can set up with Coil and Leaf Blade.
>ElectivireGood coverage moves with Psychic, Ice Punch, and Thunderbolt.
>GigalithSturdy to guarantee surviving one hit, can set up Stealth Rock against Iris so that Haxorus's Sash will be broken. Can also set up Sandstorm to boost Excadrill's power.
Any of these three?
For what it's worth, I have one final encounter left in Victory Road, and it's either Altaria, Onix, Druddigon/Zweilous, or Gurdurr/Throh, if any of them could also make a difference.
