>>55190290Well, the thread DID specifically say "Trainer OCs"... though, maybe you could post your Pokémon OC in the mystery dungeon thread. Murdoch does have a complicated relationship with the two mons you see in his sheet to the extent that they're entirely their own characters with their own motivations. In fact, calling doch a trainer would be a lie in and of itself. The Malamar is Orzabal and the Beheeyem is Curtonix; Orzabal is the older father figure while Curtonix is the more naïve one. Both of them combine their power of mind control and memory manipulation in order to use Murdoch as a psionic catalyst to amplify their own psychic power. Murdoch isn't a psychic himself, but can be used to amplify a psychic mon's own power to an exponential degree due to certain events that dramatically changed his life ad a child. He doesn't own them, but rather they've bent him to their will and are masquerading as "his" Pokémon. Rather than making their human thrall catch other Pokémon in balls, the two psychics sell ambitious wild mons on their beliefs and plans for the world, letting them join of their own volition. These Pokémon will obey the two psychic mons, but don't answer to Murdoch himself.

>>55190680>>55190945>5'11"If that's a manlet, then Murdoch may as well be a garden gnome! Unfortunately, he isn't a bigwig CEO and wouldn't compete with such a DISTINGUISHED individual like this zirca fellow. He's small, he's weak, he's fragile, he hates Pokèmon, and he doesn't have the ability to rush in and take blows to the chin like those other brave fellows do... he's just an intermediate level researcher among his peers who's befallen an unfortunate fate. If there's anyone who COULD handle El Doradoludon, it'd be Murdoch's Overseer.
