>>55976348Like some of the other replies, I do get jealous, and it's not like I can help what I feel when I see shit I don't like, but I can control the fact that I can filter it, block, scroll and ignore, etc. It takes way more energy to send hate to someone peacefully doing whatever they want in their own space than it does to just move on and forget about it. It's usually younger people and the mentally unstable (often both at once) that are more inclined to lash out about it. It sure does feel like there are way more rules in fandoms as a whole than there was back when I was a teenager well over a decade ago... I can't tell if some of those rules are helpful or just sort of stupid.
>>55976444>I'm fine with drawing people with their husbandos, as long as it's not mine. This, when it comes to other yumes having different husbandos than I do and they're having fun drawing their OC/themselves with them I don't mind at all and find it almost comforting others do it too, but I get real sour when I see my most favored characters with some random OC I don't know. It's like seeing your man out about town and they've got some random chick on their arm. It's like, human nature to get mad that the object of your affections is with someone else. However, I'm also very autistic, and while I do separate fiction from reality like a normal person does, I still get pretty invested. Self-awareness is key, I guess.
>>55976526I said it once and I'll say it on my deathbed: Western fandoms are barely worth interacting with anymore because of the weird shit like the rampant idpol that infests it now. Also teenagers are annoying 80% of the time and fandom is like 90% teens. I genuinely don't even use social media anymore outside of some small instances because I can't stand most of the people in fandoms now. Must be a generational gap...
