For one thing he lives in Chintown Central like on his floor theres like 4 seperate Chineese families who are, ahem, suspicious of outsiders ya know
Secondly his former roomate (and our former best friend) stole a shit load of money from him last christmas so they are allready suspicious of my friend's friends (the landlord had to change the locks it was a big thing plus if you know the type of people this is they all FREAKED the fuck out and over reacted which like I get but still)
and finally I would assume my friend already found someone else to split his room with him. When I was still in the city he was already starting to pester me if I wanted to move in and that was less than 2 months after other friend had took the money and ran off to vegas. By now I'm sure he's got it filled up...probaly...
But either way it's been an entire year since I talked to him, like he DOES owe me ( I always used to help him, got his passport for him, helped him straighten out and print his resume, was his reference, didn't report him for doing blow in the break room when we worked together etc) but idk if I could depend on him like that... FUCk man I 'm also a piece of shit ya know?
I would prefer to just find a very cheap RoachRoom to rent and try and figure shit out on my own. Or Ideally a fucking used car would be a godsend
