Nintendo and Gamefreak unironically not letting Kusaka and Yamamoto be more mature and actually killing of some of the villains because they're afraid it will ruin the series to their fans is dumb as fuck. This shit is even more egregious, when Nintendo has to step forward and retcon something in the manga. Like in the ending of X & Y where Lysandre died, but later, "somehow" survived in the volume release or something.
