I know you guys mainly discuss the more recent anime, but I watched the second Pokemon movie last night and something bugs me.
You know how all the Earth's pokemon went to gather near Lugia's island to help out any way they could while he fought Zapdos, Moltres and Articuno? How almost all the pokemon who were shown making the travel where either Water or Flying type?
When Articuno freezes the ocean around the four islands, a bunch of Pokemon like Ninetales, Clefairy, Nidorans, Primape, and Venusaur all come marching along.
How in the flying fuck did these land based Pokemon, like Oddish and Vileplume, make it there? Yet pokes like Zubat and Golbat chose to stay on far away land masses?
How did the likes of Eevee, Rattatas, and others make it back to their home lands when Lugia's song melted the ice and rose the giant sea current into the air? Wouldn't the twisters caused by the sea current fuck over the flying types?
There's a scene where the swimming pokemon are ferrying the land based Pokemon around, you see like, three Eevees on one Gyarados, and that's about it. Who was ferrying the big fuckers like Golem, Onix, Rapidash and Arcanine?
