Let's pretend for a moment you don't want to suck charizard's dick. The main reason to use SR at all is to break any focus sash, fuck up pokemon with sturdy and multiscale, and cause damage, because sometimes that small percentage it does is all it takes to kill the oponent's pokemon in less than 3 turns. Why else would you use SR besides a stall team? No one's putting it up thinking "I'm going to fuck up charizardfags, that'll make my day". If people can OHKO the oponent with a single move they'd rather use a slot in that.
Unlike DT, SR isn't a game defining move. DT can make a single pokemon inmune to everything, SR can be annoying but it should be GG unless your entire team is weak x4 against rock. That's basic teambuiling.
Basically, DT is harder to counter than SR because DT's counters are shitty moves you wouldn't use against any other move, and once it's set up it's almost imposible to fight against it. SR can be up from turn one and you can still sweep the fuck out of the oponent.
And that's my 2 cents, but I doubt anybody will care, seeing people are more interested in proving others wrong than trying to solve things
