Heck, I'm sort of disappointed that we got SMT x Fire Emblem instead of SMT x Pokemon, granted I have no idea how that would go over with Pokemon Company International, given their tendency to censor even mild things like religious references. Especially since SMT is essentially a series composed entirely of things from various religions, and not a very child friendly one at that.
And heck, there's still people out there in the western world who think Pokemon is satanic. Making a crossover with a series that prominently features Lucifer and demons (as well as God and angels being in the same universe as pagan gods and godesses) would totally not go over well.
It's a shame really. They're two very awesome series that would work well together.
Maybe at the very least, we could get an Atlus developed Pokemon spinoff someday.
