So seeing that it is going to be in the next demo and that its backsprite will doubtlessly have to interpret the official design to some degreem here's my attempt at Anvelid. It's highly, highly WIP since I'm a bit at a loss. Top is what I initially wanted to do, but it's a bit of a cop -out. Bottom was initially a lot thinner, which looked even worse than this version does.
Please be inspired to modify.
>>22070807>koberus's front sprite is MUCH more off design then his back oneUnless the image on the wikia was not updated to a newer version yet, I don't see the discrepancies with the front sprite at all. What else, aside from the leg fur, was changed?
>huh?Kobalt's stance is ducked. It looks as though it has no neck and thus cannot raise its head above a certain level. But the back sprite has the horn of the head very noticeably above the horn on the back which, including perspective, strikes me as a position Kobalt could not get into. I suppose i's a very minor issue based on interpretation and nothing more.
>>22071074>only the really small Pokemon are the ones you see the butts/tails ofI agree, though I thought Hoppanero made enough sense to override that observation. But I see that the three back sprites next to each other make it feel very out of line. I doubt zooming would work, so I suppose it will have to be seated or on its hind legs.
>>22071074>Capig's tuftsThat's a good idea. I wasn't sure whether or not you even agreed it was an issue, but I'd be grateful if it was surveyed. There's no particular hurry.
Since every version has a front and back sprite, I'll probably have to number them inside the respective image. I hope you don't mind.
>>22071315Very nice. My only complaint [the perspective issue I mentioned before was more a matter of convention] would be that the coils around the head don't look fully round, both in their overall shape [which I think is intentional] but also in the way the fit on the head.
