Small segment between the last badge and this one, not much happened gameplay-wise, two new encounters, a gym battle which led to two deaths, the level cap got raised to 35, and some new TMs to play with.
Honky carried me through the gym due to the game's terrain mechanics, thanks to a seed he got a boost in SpA, and psybeam got a 1.2x damage boost as well, which one shot everything he fought, I only discovered this though after losing two members to a very bulky Bewear though.
What follows now is the first really difficult part of the game, important trainers have better items and moves now, gym terrains get more unfavorable, and I don't have access to a whole lot of options, team is likely to shake up a lot soon.
>>48321804Yeah Rejuvenation is pretty different in terms of how you go about playing it, it's pretty similar to how you describe RadRed where you have to either know exactly what you're going up against or have a guide to help you along, and have a team made for each important fight.
I'm playing with fairly lenient nuzlocke rules with counting all special encounters as available, and playing on normal and set.
I can imagine intense being a shitshow compared to this though, around the sixth gym shit really hits the fan.
