I just started the game last week, I have maybe 50 hours in it, just beat main game, no shiny charm yet. The only shinies ive found organically aside from the story sheep are two pidgeys and a furfrou. I picked alpha magikarp to be the first one to try to find so I just flew to zone 2 over and over, didn't expect anything but after maybe 15 minutes I got it. Stoked. Only had to use 2 bottle caps too.
