that one rocket grunt with the level 16 raticate must have sent my shit packing at least 20 times. wasn't until after that i realized the fight was completely optional. in the present day i have mt moon memorized in my head. every year since this game came out i have fully played through it at least once, usually getting all the pokemon i can on whatever version im on and full dexing it if my friend is around. i would send my pokemon to bank if they were cool and reset the run for another adventure.
