If you want a bunch of "realistic" creatures, i suggest you literally go take a hike. You envision a very limited design philosophy filled with literal animals with Toriyama eyes and your view is too fucking narrow. I'm not saying there isn't furfag bullshit designs in the series, but if the mere mention of even slight manmade themeing represents a design flaw in such a world, then the problem is most definitely you, not the design itself
