>I like extending her hair into a large mane. I always thought Jynx's hair was one of its most noteable traits as pokemon tend to either have fur or just parts of their anatomy that resemble hair but aren't. So exaggerating that is pretty cool.>I like the little cowlick on top of its head. It kinda harkens back to the same cowlick present on its preevolution,smoochum.>I like the dress. The white trim and powdered dots give it a strong "snow" motif. Like a fur lined winter coat.-THINGS I DON'T LIKE-
>The eyes. I get what they're going for, making her look almost crazed with psychic power (or maybe she even type shifts to dark, who knows?) But it just clashes with the rest of the aesthetic. Everything else about the design is leaning into how icy and cold she looks but this is the only element that looks like it's referencing psychic powers. Maybe they're supposed to look like sunglasses? Like a rich older woman type of aesthetic?>the arms/hands. I know that they're exactly the same as Jynx's. And that's the problem. They feel like an afterthought. I've always kinda liked the idea of Jynx having free floating hands since its open palms are always so prominent in its design.>>56894313I have considered giving Jynx a mega evolution and just saying that Jynxite is really hard to find. That being said I feel like it's too "my main character is special" for my tastes. Also I'm afraid game freak WILL eventually release an official mega Jynx and then I'll have egg on my face.
