Besides, MegaZard Y's design kinda mirrors XY Ash in terms of posture. They both look confident, heroic, and powerful. If there's one thing the anime is doing right, it's that the Mega Pokemon and their trainers are a perfect match in terms of design and personality. Zard X doesn't suit Ash in the slightest.
