Just always assume the worst is coming: legendaries aren't actually coming until this winter and they will be restricted by teams, not allowed in gyms, and only have a 5% catch rate with a golden Razz Berry on top of only being available for one raid attempt during once a year raid events. Gen 3 won't release until the winter after that, and the game will die before anymore gens or any more shinies are available
