>>39216163Nah I think the setup is too phoned in. Ash has been muh chosen one since the series started. I mean he won the lottery for God’s sake. He has a rivalry with the Masked Royal who just so happens to be the one who’ll be involved in the exhibition match for the winner. Guzma is introduced who is the only other character that has a relationship with Kukui and his goal just so happens to stop the League from happening anymore if he ends up becoming Champion. It is even confirmed now that Ash is making it to the finals because of his 4 opponents being shown on the poster. And if that’s not enough, the opening damn near spoils Ash and Masked Royal’s Battle.
So yea, I’d bet all the money I have that he’s winning. However that’s not to say I’m happy about it, because winning a League where not a single person had a full team of Pokémon just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
