You are going to see people say Emerald as the best game. Then Sinnoh. Then Unovabortions will rise to power and then and that point everyone on /vp/ right now will be in their 30-40s and either dead or have moved on. And also yes, objectively, as games, as art, Johto isn't very good. It has braindead battles and weak exploration, at best it has 2 good music themes that play in only 2 areas. It isn't a good RPG, it isn't even really a good Pokemon game. It's time to move on.
