Oh boy, a generation 2 thread? count me in boy. I always loved gen 2, but the more time passes the more I appreciate it. I always chuckle when I remember how the Pokemon Communication Center (Pokemon Crystal Jap) was some sort of early wifi, and the Pokegear acted as a some sort of in-game modern smartphone. In the Japanese version of Crystal you could even save real contacts in your game. Pretty awesome and innovative.
