Another good episode, I'm liking the style of this new season, I didn't watch SM so it may sound obvious to some of you, but I really like the expressive style and the weight that the characters have when they move, it's certainly the kind of stuff that looks miles better in motion than just taking a single screenshot.
My thoughts:
-Neat reference at the beginning, though it makes more obvious that Ash is a different character now, I don't think he is a bad character by any means, but in this season it's more like someone else took his name and identity, he's pretty hyper, but in a fun way (the way he tries to interact with Yamper despite not knowing what it can do plus it even showing hostility made think of a wildlife show presenter, for example).
-[pic related] The way Koharu just fucking ignores dead Ash is hilarious, that one got me good, did she thought Pikachu fried Ash because Yamper is always gentle near her? She has a lot of other good expressions through the episode too.
-The "here's your Lugia bro" with the Psyduck was a good one too.
-I was wondering if some of the characters from the Raid will become recurring to some extent, they all had interesting designs to be an one-off, I mean, randoms used to be very simple in the past, it's normal for them to be more detailed recently?
