1. The trainer needing to throw away the ball to summon pokemon and then, the ball magically returning back to the trainer with no explanation how. Can't you just click the button and the summon the pokemon from a distance?
2. The idea that a pokemon can just fling the ball away and not get capture in the process. And no, it doesn't matter if it didn't touch the button on the pokeball, because it's been shown many times that if a pokemon gets hit by any side of the ball, then it gets captured inside.
