I've finally managed to get legit Alakazam without hacking on gen3 (I used VBA Link 1.7.2 to trade with myself)

is the same possible in gen 4 games with some DS emulator? I would love to trade with myself between gen4/5 games

is ROMhacking and replacing trade evos the only alternative to legit DS console trading?
