>Anime: Yugioh! Adventures of Tomato clown has been surprisingly allright>Card Game: Yugioh! A solid portion of my deck is comprised of old, non-staple cards I like, and I still manage to win games. My old pokemon deck wouldn't last long enough for me to pick up a prize>Vidya: Pokemon, even Magic beats yugioh in digital product, duel network can be moderately enjoyable at times, but it's typically just fast paced autism, and doesn't stack well against battle spot at its worst>Toys/Merch: I'm a despicable sack of shit who has a plsh of his fave pokes and likes it. Some of Yugioh's cuter monsters for whichever archtype might make a decent plush, ut just by quantity and quality, pokemon.>Meta: A karenfag winning isn't as rare as someone using a non-archetype or an unpopular archetype to win.>Fandom: I've met a lot of people who I honestly cherish by playing pokemon. I typically just meet autists and tryhards playing yugioh. Not all players are, but chill people just looking to unwind by playing a children's game are surprisingly rare. >>20715233Arcana Force 0 and Shedinja or Claydol
>>20722956I actually picked a yugioh deck up again recently, because MaRo shat all over standard, and once my deck rotates out, I'm going to want a backup plan for standard nights at my local cardshoppe.
>>20732253I like it, it at least has /some/ reasoning, even if it is weak. Dueling has become a full acrobatic circus show, so we finally have justification for a duel school, and large organizations boasting some money, considering large scale events selling out stadiums. It's still treated kind of mystic, so I can only imagine all software and official card releases are handled by illusion industries and companies like Kaiba and Leo corp are just making hardware for it, and just unquestioningly patching whatever illusion releases.
