I get you're going for a gen 1 look, and I dont inherently dislike the gen 1 'dbz eyes' but I dont think they work too well for jack o lanterns, especially if you want to evoke a ghostly vibe. Consider making they eyes glowing circles? Especially gor the first form. I think those to changes would do a lot of good for the first form.
