I love them. In general they're some of the strongest moves of their type and 100% accurate, with their only drawback being the recoil itself. Double-Edge is amazing with STAB (my Staraptors ALWAYS have DE on their movesets), and is a great coverage move as well (always have it on Aggron to deal with pesky things). Flare Blitz rocks the socks, especially on the likes of Blaziken and Infernape. Head Smash, oh my heavens, I have the vapors. And with either Rock Head or a healing move they don't have any drawback, just some nice juicy mega-damage.
Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a 120 base power 100% accurate recoil move for every Type, especially the Types who lack any other good and/or strong move like Poison and Dark and Ghost. And some Special variants would be nice too, to give Special-oriented Pokemon a good strong attack.
