Dat defense, dat typing, dat entry hazard expertise (the only Pokemon to have access to all entry hazard moves and Rapid Spin as far as I know). Also, it looks really cool.

It has access to Bug/Steel typing which is my favorite type combination

Two favorites: Twineedle, since Beedrill wrecks shit with it in Gen I due to everything being Poison type, and U-turn, since it's a great scouting move with a solid base power and it's very usable even for non-Bug types. I absolutely love my U-turning Fearow in HeartGold.

I caught a shiny Kakuna in a Bug Catching Contest in Gold version. I ended up losing the whole contest but I was obviously happy as hell. It was my first or second shiny, can't exactly remember.
