Obviously you can be happy about it, but not everyone is, no one will complain if it's more neutral.
We know clearly it's inspired from a Mermaid (feminine) but it have also a male counterpart : the Merman.
Design wise, the fact they choose to make it more feminine is clearly not a smart choice to please the most people, when they are able to make it more neutral.
