There's a lot of ground to cover, so I'll keep things as brief as I can.
Kurt evolved into Kadabra, and then I traded him back and forth with my SoulSilver cart to evolve him into Alakazam. He hits like a freight train now - I honestly might not even need to catch Cresselia if I can keep him alive until the E4. There is virtually nothing that can handle him at this stage of the game barring Bronzor.
Selene evolved into Golbat before Gardenia and wiped the floor with her single-handedly. Jupiter was hella easy too. She didn't become a Crobat until after fighting Barry in Hearthome, but even as a Golbat she swept his entire team.
SuperTux is outliving his usefulness. Scylla can become Gyarados as soon as I can get to the Daycare, Percy can become a Floatzel with enough training, and I have a guaranteed Barboach waiting for me in Eterna City. I hate to sound like Paul, but I'm honestly considering boxing my starter at this point. Petunia has Run Away, so I might even bring the Super Rod to the Great Marsh and catch myself a guaranteed Carvanha (my team *does* need a Dark-type).
>b-but how the hell did you get the super rod
I used the Void glitch for the first time. With Kurt by my side as my Navigator, we were able to safely traverse the unimaginable horrors of the Warp and gain access to the three postgame towns. Once I'm done with Maylene, I can fly to the Fight Area, noclip out of reality, and get it early.
Sasuke will probably be my Flyer and backup for Selene, but probably won't see a permanent spot on my team after Maylene (although he's nice to have for double battles).
JET FUEL (it's a long-standing tradition for me to name all of my Wurmples JET FUEL, all caps) was going to be my paralyzer for Cresselia, but I forgot that Gastly is in the Old Chateau and has Hypnosis, so she's just a Contest star now. We're working our way up the Smart contest circuit, and I'm hoping to get her to Master rank.
