The models also don't try to recreate the 2D art nearly as well as the models in Masters EX and past Pokemon games.Well that's kinda what I was trying to say, they just changed the style, maybe because Sugimori or whoever preferred it or cause they wanted to try something else, who knows. The eyes look exactly like this in the 2D concept art too. It's not just shit modeling work.
