I thought it was common knowledge by now that Typhlosion has an objectively awful design. It only looks cool when in motion, i.e. when it's attacking. Compare it to gen 7's Salazzle which also has flames coming out of its body when it attacks, but Salazzle is visually interesting even before that. Typhlosion has nothing going for it when it's idle.
