All references to that shitty shock doujin aside, I really do see Emboar as extremely loyal. It even says in his description that he cares deeply for him friends. He’s a heromon even if he’s not always depicted that way in fanworks due to him being a fat pig. He strikes me as one of those characters who everyone in the story writes off as a dumb brute but who actually has more to him than that. It makes sense because pigs in real life are far more intelligent than people realize.
