The AI even explicitly says that humans don't have the KNOWLEDGE to create an AI and the crystals made it possible, the crystals are also related to the pokemon in the crater. Do you know what that's hinting at?
That the pokemon, that possessed heath and made him write a page he has no knowledge of, assisted in some way with the creation of the AI. The final log in station 4 also hints at the fact that the professor has no knowledge of building the AI and keep in mind, the other professor left meaning they have absolutely no one else to rely on.
