It’s been forever since I last drew Adeline and my style’s significantly changed in that time, and character too has changed a bit as I’ve had her. It’s about time for a reintroduction.
Ado was a strange child thrown into an orphanage when she was young. Neglected and unable to get adopted, she ran away and lived as a street urchin for a while. That’s where she met her Wishiwashi, 1st Beedril, & 1st Durant pair; as a “keychain pet”, Kakuna in a drainage pipe, & alley pests. Later she moved into more rural areas and met her Falinx pair as fellow nomads, and her Tauros that was a farm runt she emphasized with.
Eventually she arrived in Charadon Town and offered to lend her manpower to help with the town’s ailing infrastructure. She continued to learn construction and has now settled down as their gym leader. Her bugs formed their own hives too. Ironically, even though she failed to be a part of someone else’s family, she’s built one of her own. As an adult she augments her gym into a summer camp so kids like her can have fun and grow in a loving environment.

She’s got an alright chance at making it; she can stay focused in a crisis and either try to put it out or navigate an escape. The former hinges on if her Wishiwashi’s friends can reach her in time, since 15/19 of her Pokémon are bugs. Either way not everyone’s coming out unscathed.
