>>40663664Think about it this way. Take a group of 100 humans tell them to survive. Sure the "logical" thing would be for everyone there to just work together but thats not how real life works.
A person can dislike someone on any basis.
>They don't like the way the look>They think someone is too extroverted>They think someone is too introverted>Someone doesn't like a thing that you like>Someone has something you want>Someone wants something you have>Some people just simply get along better with certain othersAfter enough time passes what was supposed to be a cohesive unit splits into different factions which if you think it about it is actually potentailly a good thing in regards to human survival. It potentially allows a more diverse option of different philosophies and mindsets. That's why human societies have so many different cultures. Yeah the downside of this diversity means competition between factions but as I said its unavoidable as long as humans are human.
The thing is yeah the competition can lead to some awful shit happening but it can lead to good shit, like different cultures, different technological advancements, etc.
This "system" isn't inherently bad or good it depends on whats done with it. Its just a giant gray area.
