Although desu that’s how I spend all my birthdays and most holidays except Christmas and Thanksgiving and I love it. I feel guilty asking people to celebrate my birthday with me, like I’m being selfish and having other people spend energy on me. My parents still force me to have dinner with them later in the week though and my girlfriend usually tries to drag me out places.
