Some you can just tell they designed the gmax form first, look at how cool this fucker looks, people freaked out about him when he was leaked, he was menacing enough for people to think he was eternatus, now look at regular coalossal and how underwhelming it is in comparison, it's like they looked at gmax coalossal and said "cool make the final evo that but shittier"
Alcremie literally feels half baked, cream > icing > cake is clearly what they're going for but they had to have cake be the gmax so they stopped at icing and just made it have a bunch of recolors to compensate
Duraludon's design is fucking incomprehensible divorced from it's gmax, they came up with the idea of a kaiju dragon that literally is a building but then had to scale it down and this contorted disgrace to nature was the best they could come up with
