>>35521149That was dangerously bordering into edgy territory and extremely tone deaf compared to how the game actually was (mostly happy and cutesy), it was selling you a different game, and the music was bad. The animation is nothing impressive, not a lot of interesting or particularly complex movement going, lots of panning, and abused close ups and effects to make up for it.
That said, it's overall not bad and it really got people hyped a lot more than the ORAS animated trailer did because it knew exactly what to show. The ORAS trailer topped it in animation and sound design but hell, that was just Mega Evo whoring and showed one gym leader that has like 5 fans instead of showing someone actually relevant like Norman or Wallace. We didn't even get to see Steven or Magma and Aqua.
