I find it a bit sad that most of the "official" Pokemon artwork outside of the very core essence of the franchise, such as the stuff you see in the children's books and t-shirts, isn't half as good as the fanart some people create, especially people here on /vp/. I feel like Gamefreak should be more selective with their hiring for this stuff.
