>Out of all the Switch games SwSh unironically has the best graphics and artstyle. No I'm not joking, as sad as that seems, it genuinly looks prettier than LGPE even with it's shitty low res textures.
>The Wild Area unironically has the best overworld system to date. SV's system - while it does seamlessly transition to battles - looks jank as fuck and the distance it takes for Pokemon to go "low-poly mode" is pretty damn jaring.
>Raid Battles are more balanced and optimised than SVs
>Pretty good soundtrack
>Decent enough world building (I like the idea of Pokemon battles being Galar's equivalent to soccer irl. It's probably the only game that has Pokemon's weird 8 gym structure seamlessly fit into the story besides using videogame logic)
>Genuinly great character designs
>Simple yet lovable charactesr in general. I'd even say they're on par with gen 1's
> Uni-fucking-ronically a better story than SV. No joke. It may have been handled poorly but I find SwSh's themes of generation succession and the price of keeping a utopia like Galar running MUCH MORE interesting than whatever the fuck SV was going for.
>Also the DLC is better. Teal Mask and Indigo Disk are very cool too but they feel like teasers for the eventual B&W remakes. I just like how Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra fit into the lore of Galar.
